Mancini in the press conference: Jordan game is difficultand we prepared for it well

Saudi national team coach, Roberto Mancini spoke at the press conference held this evening to talk about the Greens preparations for Jordan game in the match day two of the second round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers and Asian Nations Cup 2027 qualifiers.
"We are looking forward to play a good match, and we know very well, that The Jordanian team is a strong team, so I expect a difficult match.", he said.
Regarding the reasons for the delay of the Saudi team's arrval in Amman, he replied: "It is not overconfidence. This is the normal situation for us to arrive the night before the match. We trained well in Al-Ahsa, and we respect the Jordanian team and all teams."
"Our future now is to think about tomorrow’s match, and we have a long time to think about the Asian Cup after the match.', he replied on a question about The Greens' chances in the Asian Cup.
The Italian manager clarified that the qualification ticket is not guaranteed at all: "In the world of football, nothing is guaranteed. We will only guarantee qualification when we play well and collect match points."

Mancini rejected the media’s accusation that he played with a reserve team against Pakistan, by saying: "I chose the best players, and I played against Pakistan with all respect in order to earn the three points."
