Al-Mishal attends the final of the Amateur Fotball League for the U-18

Today, Sunday, the President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser bin Hassan Al-Mishal, in the presence of the President of the Amateur Football League (AFL), Adel Al-Fiqi, and the President of the Jazan Region Association, Sultan Awaji, crowned the Al-Jazira Al-Husseiniteam with the Under-18 Championship Cup in Jazan, which is held under the supervision of the SAFF.
Al-Jazira Al-Husseini beat Santos Jazan with a score of 2/1 in the final match that took place at the Education Department Stadium in Jazan City.
The presence of the President of the SAFF for the match came on the sidelines of his visit to the region, and included a number of visits and sports meetings.
For his part, the President of the SAFF praised the efforts of the Amateur Football League and its role in discovering players and organizing competitions for various age groups.
Al-Mishal praised the passion he saw from the youth of the Jazan region for football, pointing out that the levels he witnessed constitute a true nucleus for Saudi football, stressing that the federation’s technical programs target all regions, including Jazan.
It is noteworthy that the Amateur Football League includes 2,924 teams, including 468 teams and academies in the Jazanregion, with 78,108 players registered, including 10,629 players from Jazan. The current season’s calendar includes 60 championships, including 30 championships for the first team, 15 for the under-18 team, and the same for the under-15 team.
