NT U-23 surpasses China in friendly within the Asian Cup preparations

The Saudi Arabia under-23 national team defeated the Chinese national team, 1-0, in the test match that brought them together on Saturday evening, within the preparatory camp in Qatar, which is held within the framework of the preparation program for the 2024 AFC U-23 Cup.
The Green’s goal was scored by Ahmed Al-Shuwaifi in the 13th minute of the first half.
Technical director Saad Al-Shehri entered the match with a lines-up consisted of: Ahmed Al-Jubaie in goalkeeping, Muhammad Abu Al-Shamat, Mishal Al-Sibani, Jihad Zakry, Zakaria Hawsawi, Eid Al-Mawlid, Ziad Al-Juhani, Saad Al-Nasser, Haitham Asiri, Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, and Ahmed Al-Shuwaifi.
The Saudi under-23 team will resume training on Sunday, in preparation for facing the Chinese national team in the second test match at the end of the camp in Qatar on Tuesday.
It is worth noting that the national under-23 team is placed in Group C, of the 2024 AFC U-23 Championship in Qatar, scheduled to start in mid-April, alongside the teams of Iraq, Thailand, and Tajikistan.
