The Saudi Arabia under-23 national team defeated the Chinese national team, 2-0, in the test match that brought them together on Tuesday evening, at the conclusion of the preparatory camp in Qatar, which was held within the framework of the preparation program for the 2024 AFC U-23 Cup.
The Saudi team goals came from Ahmed Al-Ghamdi in the 17th minute, and Haitham Asiri in the 90th minute.
Technical director Saad Al-Shehri entered the match with a list consisting of: Muhammad Al-Absi in goalkeeping, Muhammad Abu Al-Shamat, Muhammad Al-Dosari, Muhammad Suleiman, Majid Qashish, Rakan Kaabi, Basil Al-Siyali, Majid Duran, Saad Al-Nasser, Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, and Ahmed Al-Shuwaifi.
It is worth noting that the Saudi under-23 team plays in Group C, of the 2024 AFC U-23 Championship in Qatar, scheduled to start in mid-April, and alongside it in the group are the teams of Iraq, Thailand, and Tajikistan.
