On Tuesday, the Saudi Arabia U-23 national team continued training within its preparatory camp in the Emirates, which extends until the 11th of April, as part of the final stage of the preparation program for the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup in Qatar, which qualifies for the Olympic Games (Paris 2024).
The “Green” players conducted their training session in Abu Dhabi, under the supervision of technical director Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff. It focused on their application of the square exercises (Rondo), after which the technical staff divided the players into two groups, to perform the offensive and defensive goals, and the training session concluded with a mini-manoeuvre.
It is worth noting that the Saudi under-23 team is placed in Group C, of the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup, scheduled to start in mid-April, and alongside it in the group are the teams of Iraq, Thailand, and Tajikistan.
