On Wednesday, the Saudi Arabia U-23 national team continued its training within its preparatory camp in the Emirates, which extends until the eleventh of April, as part of the final stage of the preparation program for the 2024 AFC U-23 Cup in Qatar, which qualifies for the Olympic Games (Paris 2024).
The “Green” players conducted their training session in Abu Dhabi, under the supervision of technical director Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff. It began with warm-up exercises, followed by passing practice, before the players were divided into two groups, the first of which performed a practice to develop the game from the midfield, while the other group performed a drill, then the training session concluded with a mini maneuver.
The Saudi team will conclude training on Thursday in preparation for facing the Indonesian national team on Friday evening in the first test match within the preparatory camp in the Emirates.
It is worth noting that the national under-23 team is placed in group C, of the 2024 AFC U-23 Championship in Qatar, scheduled to start in mid-April, and alongside the teams of Iraq, Thailand, and Tajikistan.
