
NT U-23 concludes the UAE camp with a friendly victory over South Korea

The Saudi Arabia under-23 team defeated the South Korean team 1-0, in the test match that brought them together on Tuesday evening at Al Nahyan Stadium, within the preparatory camp in the Emirates, which is held within the final stage of preparation for the AFC U-23 Cup 2024 in Qatar, which qualifies to the Olympic Games (Paris 2024).
The match witnessed the presence and follow-up of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United Arab Emirates, Sultan Al-Anqari, the Secretary-General of the Saudi Arabian Football Association, Ibrahim Al-Qassim, and member of the Board of Directors, Naeem Al-Bakr.
The “Green” goal was scored by player Jihad Zakry in the 72nd minute of the match.
The Saudi team manager, Saad Al-Shehri entered the match with a list consisting of: Muhammad Al-Absi in goalkeeping, Muhammad Abu Al-Shamat, Rayan Hamed, Mishal Al-Sibani, Zakaria Hawsawi, Eid Al-Mawlid, Faisal Al-Ghamdi, Ayman Yahya, Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, Haitham Asiri and Abdullah Radif.
On the other hand, the U-23 national team delegation will leave on Thursday evening for the Qatari capital, Doha, in preparation for the 2024 AFC U-23 Cup.
It is worth noting that the Saudi under-23 team is placedin Group C, of the 2024 AFC U-23 Cup in Qatar, scheduled to start in mid-April, along with the teams of Iraq, Thailand, and Tajikistan.
