The Saudi Arabia futsal national team continued its daily training and preparations for the match against the Iraqi national team next Wednesday, in the opening of their matches in 2024 AFC Futsal Asian Cup in Bangkok, which qualifies for the World Cup in Uzbekistan next September.
Today, Sunday, the “Green Futsal” players conducted their daily training at the BAT Arena, led by Spanish coach Andreu Plaza, who during the training session intended to intensify and diversify the fitness exercises in addition to conducting and executing technical and tactical sentences using the ball, before the training session concluded with a drill in the entire hall, which witnessed the presence and follow-up of the head of the mission, the general supervisor of the futsal and beach teams, Dr. Khaled bin Muqrin, and the director of the futsal and beach football department in the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Nasser Al-Saadi.
On the other hand; Today, Sunday, the technical staff of theSaudi team held a technical meeting with the players in the meeting room at the mission’s residence, during which some technical cases were reviewed using video technology, the mistakes they made in previous friendly matches were discussed, and how to implement them in the correct way next time.
