Today, Tuesday, the Saudi Arabia under-23 national team returned to training after its match yesterday, Monday, against Iraq, which brought them together in the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup in Qatar, which qualifies for the Olympic Games (Paris 2024).
The “Green” players conducted their training session this evening in the gym at the mission’s residence, under the supervision of technical director Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff, during which they were divided into two groups.
The first group, which included the players who mainly participated in yesterday’s match, performed a retrospective training session, while the other one underwent strengthening exercises.
The Green, will perform his training session at 4:00 pm tomorrow, Wednesday, at Qatar University Stadium 2, and the media will be allowed to cover the first quarter-hour of it.
On the other hand, the technical staff of the national under-23 team decided to exclude player Mohamed Maran, after medical examinations revealed that he had suffered a tear in ligaments in his right ankle joint.
It is worth noting that the Saudi under-23 team leads Group C, which includes alongside it the teams of Iraq, Thailand, and Tajikistan.
