KSA NT concludes preparations to meet Pakistan in Islamabad in the World Cup qualifiers

On Wednesday evening, the Saudi Arabia national team concluded its preparations to face the Pakistan national team tomorrow evening, Thursday, at the “Jinnah Stadium” in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, as part of the fifth round of the second round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup.
The Green Mission arrived in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, this Wednesday evening, and the mission was received upon its arrival at Islamabad International Airport by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Pakistan, Nawaf Al-Maliki.
For his part, President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser bin Hassan Al-Meshal, extended his thanks and appreciation to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Pakistan for the good reception and facilities the mission has received since its arrival.
On the field, the Green players conducted their training session on the match field, “Jinnah Stadium,” under the supervision of technical director Roberto Mancini. It began with warm-up exercises, then square exercises, followed by various tactical exercises, and the training session concluded with stretching exercises.
On a related note, player Hassan Al-Tembakti did not participate in group training due to the injury he suffered in yesterday's training.
It is worth noting that the national team plays in the Group G, in the second round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup, along with the teams of Jordan, Tajikistan, and Pakistan, as the Green leads it with ten points
