
NT U-19 wins the Arab Dyar West Asia Under-19 Championship

Yesterday, Friday, a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), Naeem Al-Bakr, crowned the Saudi under-19 national team with the Arab Dyar Championship for West Asian U-19 teams, in the presence of a member of the executive office of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF), Hisham Al-Zarouni, the Secretary-General of the WAFF, Khalil Al-Salem, and the tournament director, Ahmed Al-Bahrani, and a member of the Board of Directors of UAE Football Federation, Ibrahim Al-Nimr.
The Green’s coronation came after their victory over the UAE national team with a score of 1-0 in the match that took place between them at the King Fahd Sports City Stadium in Taif Governorate, and the only goal was scored by Talal Haji in the 43rd minute.
The national team qualified for the final of the tournament after defeating Syria with a score of 2-0, while the UAE team reached the final after defeating Jordan with a score of 2-1.
It is worth noting that the Arab Dyar West Asia Under-19 Championship was launched in Taif Governorate on June 25, with the participation of 12 teams: Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Bahrain, UAE, Oman, Yemen, Kuwait, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, in addition to the Albanian national team, the guest of the tournament.
