The Saudi Arabian Football Federation's Referees Committee held a video conference for referees and assistant referees taking part in the ongoing Regional Teams Championship, in Taif.

This was in the presence of the committee's vice-chairman Abdulrahman Al-Omari, committee member Ali Al-Ahmari and tournament referees supervisor Dr. Aziz Al-Sharif.

Past matches were discussed with the promising officials, including detailed explanation of technical notes.

The meeting also reviewed regulations in the Under-13 tournament’s final rounds, before specific examples were presented from the previous season. Referees then participated in analysing these cases and presenting their decisions.

A total of 32 refereeing crews are present at Regional Teams Championship from July 18-30, with most aged 20-25.

The event represents an opportunity for promising referees to gain more experience and exposure on the field, including seven referees from Referees Academy. These teams also oversaw matches in the Premier League for youth and junior categories.
