NT U-20 loses to Morocco in preparation for Asian qualifiers

The Saudi Arabia under-20 national team lost to the Moroccan team, in the friendly match that brought them together on Thursday evening, as part of the preparatory camp in Morocco, within the preparation for the qualifiers for the 2025 AFC U-20 Asian Cup.

The goal of the "Green" came through player Ali Al-Hussein in the 62nd minute of the match.

The Brazilian coach Marcos Soares entered the match with a list consisting of: Mahmoud Al-Barih in goal, Sultan Al-Essa, Mohammed Barnawi, Saud Haroun, Awad Aman, Bassam Hazazi, Rakan Al-Ghamdi, Farha Al-Shamrani, Ziyad Al-Ghamdi, Saad Haqawi and Thamer Al-Khaibari.

The list of the Saudi under-20 team for the camp includes (27) players, whose names are: Hamed Al-Shanqeeti, Mahmoud Al-Bariah, Mohammed Al-Hakim, Sultan Al-Essa, Youssef Al-Tahan, Mohammed Barnawi, Saud Haroun, Saleh Barnawi, Awad Aman, Mahdi Al-Aboud, Muntadher Al-Shaqaq, Bassam Hazazi, Nawaf Al-Ghalimish, Abdulrahman Al-Anzi, Hassan Al-Muslim, Ali Al-Hussein, Ali Al-Fahmi, Ramez Al-Attar, Farha Al-Shamrani, Ziyad Al-Ghamdi, Rakan Al-Ghamdi, Ammar Al-Yahibi, Saad Haqawi, Ali Al-Mahdawi, Thamer Al-Khaibari, Nawaf Al-Bishri and Talal Haji.

It is worth noting that the Saudi under-20 team will host in Abha during the current month of September the Group D, of the qualifiers for the 2025 AFC U-20 Asian Cup in China, which includes, in addition to the Saudi team, the teams of Australia, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Macau.
