
Al-Misehal participates in the 26th FIFA Council meeting

Yasser bin Hassan Al-Misehal, President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and member of the FIFA Council, participated today, Thursday, in the 26th FIFA Council meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the International Federation in the Swiss city of Zurich.
During the meeting, the topics on the agenda were discussed, most notably the approval of the regulations for the 2025 Club World Cup, and the approval of the selection of the host country for the 2030 and (2034) World Cups at the FIFA International Football Association meeting that will be held "remotely" on December 11, 2024.
The meeting also approved FIFA's women's football strategy, which extends until 2027, in addition to approving the dates for holding a number of its football competitions.
