In the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, the Football Players' Friends Association, and the Riyadh Region Municipality signed a joint memorandum of understanding aimed at community interaction in Riyadh parks, under the supervision of a number of former international players who hold advanced training degrees.
The tripartite agreement was signed by the Assistant Secretary-General for Strategy Affairs at the Saudi Football Federation Majed Al Sahib, the CEO of the Football Players' Friends Association Asala Al Harbi, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Community Participation at the Riyadh Region Municipality Abdul Wahab Al Fardan, on the sidelines of the association's ceremony, which it organizes under the title (We celebrate history to create the future) at the King Abdulaziz Center for Cultural Communication in Riyadh.
The agreement is based on 4 main pillars: encouraging the community to build a vibrant sports community, contributing to raising the percentage of football players, contributing to achieving one of the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and creating the appropriate environment in parks to practice football, in order to discover football talents and register them in regional training centers to hone them and develop their football capabilities.
The agreement identified 3 sites in Riyadh to benefit from their stadiums in the first phase, which are "Badr Square II, Al Rawabi District Square, and Dhahrat Laban Square I" in addition to the neighborhood stadiums that will be reviewed in the second phase by the technical management of the Saudi Federation and the Community Participation Agency to coordinate the selection of appropriate sites.
