The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) will host the WFS World Football Summit on December 2 and (3), at King Abdullah Financial Center in Riyadh, with the attendance of a group of leaders in the world of football.
This hosting comes with the support of SMC, the exclusive commercial partner of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and the commercial partner of the WFS World Football Summit. This edition is an extension of the success of the first edition of the global summit that was held last year in Jeddah, and witnessed the attendance of a number of athletes over two days of discussions, strategic communication, and accelerating commercial and sporting opportunities.
This partnership enhances the presence of the Saudi Football Federation in the sports scene and directly supports the global impact path within the Saudi football strategy, as the conference is expected to receive more than 2,000 people, providing opportunities to achieve the best results.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Ibrahim bin Sulaiman Al-Qassim, said that the Kingdom’s hosting of the World Football Summit in Riyadh confirms the Saudi Federation’s commitment to developing football at the local and international levels, calling on the football community to join this event in order to exchange knowledge and expertise, which contributes to raising the level of business around football.
The Director of the World Football Summit, Jean Alesi, said that the interaction with the first edition of the summit revealed the great passion of the Saudi Federation’s officials to strive to develop football through working at all levels, adding: “Our return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reflects the country’s distinguished emergence as a pivotal center for football development and innovation.”
The CEO of SMC, Khalid bin Walid Al-Khudair, mentioned the importance of the Kingdom hosting the conference, which confirms the interest and support provided by the Saudi Federation to contribute to the development of football, expressing their pride in enhancing commercial opportunities in football at the local and international levels through commercial partnerships that contribute to the development of sports marketing in the Kingdom.
The conference is expected to attract a number of athletes, including players, media representatives and sports thought leaders.
