
NT U-20 beats DR Congo in friendly in Jeddah

The Saudi Arabia under-20 national team beat the Democratic Republic of Congo national team 1-2, in the friendly match that brought them together this evening, Saturday, as part of the preparatory camp in Jeddah, which is being held in preparation for the 2025 AFC U20 Asian Cup in China.
The goals of the "Green" came through player Saad Haqawi in the 3rd minute, and player Talal Haji in the 28th minute of the match.
The Brazilian coach Marcos Soares entered the match with a list consisting of: Mahmoud Al-Barih in goal, Nawaf Al-Ghulamish, Saleh Barnawi, Mohammed Barnawi, Muntadher Al-Shaqaq, Abdulmalik Al-Harbi, Farha Al-Shamrani, Ziyad Al-Ghamdi, Hussein Al-Raqwani, Saad Haqawi and Talal Haji.
The Saudi under-20 national team will resume training tomorrow, Sunday, in preparation for facing the Democratic Republic of Congo national team on Tuesday evening in the second friendly match within the preparatory camp.
It is worth noting that the Saudi under-20 national team plays in the Group B, in the AFC U20 Asian Cup 2025, which includes, in addition to it, the teams of Iraq, Jordan, and North Korea.
