Al-Misehal crowns the winners of the Social Responsibility Awards for Clubs for the 2023-2024 season

President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), Yasser bin Hassan Al-Misehal crowned the winners of the Social Responsibility Awards for Clubs for the 2023-2024 sports season, during a ceremony held today, Sunday, in the city of Riyadh, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Saudi Federation Ibrahim Al-Qassim, a number of members of the Board of Directors, and the President of the Society of Footballers Friends Charity, Captain Majed Abdullah.
Al-Hilal Club won first place in the Social Responsibility Awards for the 2023-2024 season, which is worth 500 thousand riyals, while Al-Batin Club won the second place award worth 400 thousand dollars, while Al-Taawoun Club won third place and a prize worth 300 thousand riyals, and Al-Adalah Club won fourth place and a prize worth 200 thousand riyals, while Al-Fateh Club won fifth place and a prize worth 100 thousand riyals.
Captain Majed Abdullah won first place in the Social Responsibility Stars Award for the 2023-2024 season, worth 100,000 riyals, while Captain Mohammed Abdul Jawad won the second place award worth 75,000 riyals.
Al-Raed Club won first place for the third quarter of the Social Responsibility Periodic Award for the 2023-2024 season, worth 200,000 riyals, while Al-Qadisiyah Club won second place for the same period and a prize worth 100,000 riyals, while Al-Rawdah Club won third place and a prize worth 50,000 riyals.
The Social Responsibility Awards in the Clubs Track or Players Track are subject to specific standards from the Social Responsibility Committee that are circulated to the clubs every sports season, and are explained through various workshops. The judging of these awards is entrusted to specialists with experience and knowledge in the field of evaluating social responsibility initiatives.
The Social Responsibility Award ceremony witnessed the honoring of Abdullah Saleh Al-Othaim and Sons Charitable Foundation for supporting the Good Agreement Initiative, which included 9 projects worth 20 million Saudi riyals.
During the ceremony, the young man Yazan Saifin was honored, who is preparing to participate in leading the Saudi team participating in the West Asian Football Federation Festival for the Disabled in Amman.
A dialogue session entitled "Clubs and Society" was held on the sidelines of the Social Responsibility Award ceremony, moderated by media figure Turki Al-Shadid, with the participation of consultants in the field of social responsibility and marketing, Dr. Talal Al-Maghribi, Mr. Faisal Al-Yousef and Mr. Fadi Al-Rabghi, where the session discussed the possible improvement opportunity for best practices in social responsibility.
On the other hand, and within the segments of the ceremony, joint cooperation agreements were signed between the Federation and the Charitable Foundation for Orphan Care (Ikhwa), and a second agreement was signed between the Federation and the Charitable Association of Friends of Football Players, in addition to a joint cooperation agreement with the Hadiya Alam Association. These agreements aim to strengthen the Federation's partnership with various parties in an effort to achieve common goals that serve the interests of society and the beneficiaries of those parties in particular.
