Regional Training Centers Continue to Develop Players and Discover Talents

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation's 17 regional training centers for boys continue their work in their sixth season to develop players and discover talents through specialized training programs. These centers regularly participate in the U-11, U-12, U-13, and U-14 leagues, which contributes to giving players the opportunity to interact with official competitions and hone their technical and physical skills.
This season, and through the (first) summer registration period, the regional centers were able to provide clubs with 76 players who transferred to 36 clubs, according to conditions that ensure their continued development, including the necessity of the transferred players participating in at least 60% of their teams' matches.
In the context of strengthening the role of the regional training centers, the Federation opened four new centers this season in the regions of the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Hafar Al-Batin, and Abha, to join the current centers in Riyadh (two centers), Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Madinah, Jeddah, Taif, Najran, Jazan, Al-Ahsa, Dammam, Hail, Qassim, and Tabuk.
These centers are led by experienced and qualified national coaches, along with specialized administrative and medical teams, ensuring an integrated sports environment that helps players achieve the necessary development.
This expansion comes within the framework of the Talent Development Track, one of the seven tracks of the Saudi Football Strategy launched by the SAFF in 2021, which aims to build a comprehensive and sustainable system to discover and develop young talents.
