Alqadsiah crowned with the SAFF Women's U-17 Tournament in the second edition

The Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), Lamia bint Ibrahim bin Bahyan, crowned the Alqadsiah team with the SAFF Women's U-17 Tournament, in its second edition, in the presence of the Assistant Secretary-General for Strategic Affairs at the SAFF, Majed Al-Sahib, and the Director of the Women's Football Department, Alia bint Abdulaziz Al-Rashid.
Al-Qadisiyah was crowned with the cup after defeating Al-Nassr Club 3-0, in the final match that was held today, Tuesday, at Arqa Stadium in Riyadh.
The tournament witnessed the participation of a number of clubs that competed in different stages, as the teams were divided during the group stage at the regional level, before the final rounds were held in a single-match knockout system, with the two competing teams reaching the quarter-finals, then the semi-finals, and finally the final match.
After a series of matches that were characterized by high levels of performance by the emerging teams, the Alqadsiah team was able to achieve the title.
This tournament is also part of the Saudi Federation's strategy to develop women's football, as it contributes to discovering emerging talents and enhancing the competitiveness of the teams.
