Today, Saturday, the second phase of the technical program for the Saudi beach soccer national team kicked off in Riyadh, in preparation for participating in the 2025 AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup, scheduled to be held on the beaches of Pattaya from March 20 to 30.
The Saudi team players conducted their first training session today, Saturday, on the beach soccer field at Mahd Academy, under the leadership of Brazilian coach Koga Zolokovic, who began the training session by holding a meeting with the players in the middle of the field, then fitness and physical exercises began, after which the players were divided into several groups and tactical exercises were conducted using the ball, before the training concluded with a maneuver on the entire field.
The technical staff of the national beach soccer team, led by Koga Zolokovic, summoned 15 players, their names are: Mohammed Al-Ajmi, Hassan Jamal, Khaled Wahib, Mubarak Al-Dosari, Salman Al-Rashidi, Walid Al-Youbi, Majed Shamhani, Ahmed Al-Hamami, Islam Siraj, Rabie Sufyani, Ali Al-Saffar, Omar Qaramesh, Ramzi Dakman, Fahad Al-Musabi and Qasim Dibaji.
The "Green Beach" will play two friendly matches during its current camp in Riyadh against its counterpart, the Bahraini national team, on 21 and February.
It is noteworthy that the draw for the 2025 AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup placed the Green Beach team in Group B, alongside the teams of Japan, China and Iraq.
It is worth noting that the Green Beach team is ranked 23rd in the ranking of the Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW).
