NT U-23 defeats the UAE in the West Asian Championship

The Saudi Arabia under-23 team defeated the UAE 2-0 in the West Asian Football Federation Under-23 Championship in Oman.
The Green Falcons' goals were scored by Abdullah Maatouk in the 17th minute and Mishari Al-Nimr in the 45th minute.
Italian coach Luigi Di Biagio entered the match with a lineup consisting of: Turki Baljoush in goal; Abdulaziz Al-Faraj, Mohammed Al-Dosari, Mubarak Al-Rajhi, Suleiman Hazazi, Abdulmalik Al-Ayeri, Abdulmalik Al-Jaber, Abdullah Maatouk, Humam Al-Hamami, Murad Khadri, and Mishari Al-Nimr.
It is worth noting that the 2025 West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) U-23 Championship includes, in addition to the Green Falcons, the national teams of Oman, Bahrain, the UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon.
