NT U-23 beats Kuwait in the WAFF Cup

The Saudi Arabia under-23 team defeated Kuwait 2-0 on Tuesday to determine fifth and sixth place in the West Asian Football Federation Under-23 Championship in Oman.
Yassin Al-Zubaidi scored the first goal for the Green Falcons in the 45th minute, and Abbas Al-Hassan added the second in the 54th minute.
Italian coach Luigi Di Biagio entered the match with a lineup consisting of: Osama Al-Marmash in goal; Abdulaziz Al-Faraj, Mohammed Suleiman, Khaled Al-Asiri, Suleiman Hazazi, Abdulmalik Al-Ayeri, Abdulmalik Al-Jaber, Abbas Al-Hassan, Humam Al-Hamami, Yassin Al-Zubaidi, and Mishari Al-Nimr.
It is worth noting that the 2025 WAFF U-23 Championship, also included in addition to the Saudi team, the teams of Oman, Bahrain, the UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon.
