The Eagles Union Club Wins the Third Women's Futsal Tournament

The Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), Lamia Bin Bahyan, and the Director of the Women's Football Department, Alia bint Abdulaziz Al Rashid, crowned the Eagles Union Club as the champion of the third edition of the Women's Futsal Tournament, following their 3-2 victory over Al-Artawi Club in the final match held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the Green Hall in Riyadh.
The tournament featured 17 teams from the Premier League, First Division, and Second Division. The initial stages were played according to a regional league system, with the best teams advancing to the final rounds, which were held in a knockout format.
The champion team received a cash prize of 500,000 riyals, while Al-Artawi Club finished second and received a cash prize of 350,000 riyals, and Shu'la Al-Sharqiya Club came in third place with a prize of 200,000 riyals.
Rania Awaina of Al-Himmah Club also received the tournament's top scorer award, while Reema Al-Nuwaiser of Al-Artawi Club won the tournament's best player award. Maria Al-Najjar, goalkeeper of Ittihad Al-Nusour Club, received the best goalkeeper award after conceding only 10 goals during the final rounds of the tournament.
For her part, Alia bint Abdulaziz Al-Rasheed, Director of the Women's Football Department, expressed her gratitude to all participating clubs and players, praising the technical and organizational level of the tournament and emphasizing the continued efforts to develop the women's football system in the Kingdom.
