The SAFF has received the decision of the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center regarding the expedited arbitration dispute filed with the Center between:
- Al-Nassr Club Company (Respondent)
- Al-Orouba Club (First Respondent)
- The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (Second Respondent)
Whereas the arbitration panel issued the following decision:
First: The arbitration panel accepted the expedited arbitration request in form (unanimously).
Second: The arbitration panel, by majority, overturned the decision of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's Appeals Committee No. (4/LS/2025) dated March 29, 2025.
Third: The arbitration panel decided, by majority, to penalize the first respondent (Al-Orobah Club) by forfeiting the match between it and the respondent (Al-Nassr Club) on February 28, 2025, within the Saudi Roshen Professional League, in addition to a fine of (50,000) fifty thousand riyals.
Fourth: The arbitration panel decided, by majority, to charge both respondents (Al-Orobah Club and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation) all financial costs incurred in submitting the expedited arbitration request to the Center, equally divided between the two parties.
Fifth: All other requests were rejected (by majority).
Sixth: This ruling is final and binding on all parties to the dispute, not subject to appeal before any internal or external entity, and is final for implementation purposes.
According to paragraph (1-a-c) of Article (61) of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's Statutes, which states: A- "The Saudi Arabian Football Federation is the highest judicial authority exclusively competent to hear, adjudicate, and/or mediate all sports-related disputes, after exhausting the Federation's internal appeals mechanisms in accordance with these statutes and its regulations."
C- "The decisions of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation are final, binding, and not subject to appeal before any local or international body."
Therefore, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation affirms its commitment to taking all necessary executive measures to implement the decision and to inform the Saudi Professional League.
In this context, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation reiterates its continued commitment to respecting final decisions and its commitment to the highest standards of governance and transparency, thus enhancing the sports justice and judicial system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
