
NT U-23 loses to Mali on penalties in the Toulon International Tournament

The Saudi Arabia Under-23 national team lost to Mali on penalties, 6-5, after the two halves ended 2-2, in a match held this Monday evening at the Maurice Revello International Tournament (Toulon) in France.
The Saudi Under-23 team scored the first goal through Mishaal Al-Alaily in the 15th minute, while Mali equalized in the 44th minute of the first half.
Mali doubled the lead in the 49th minute, and Abdullah Radif equalized for the Saudi team in the 66th minute.
Italian coach Luigi Di Biagio entered the match with the following lineup: Osama Al-Marmash in goal; Mishaal Al-Alaily, Mohammed Al-Dosari, Khaled Al-Asiri, Abdulrahman Al-Obaid, Abdulmalik Al-Ayeri, Abdulmalik Al-Jaber, Rakan Al-Ghamdi, Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa, Abdulaziz Al-Othman, and Abdullah Radif.
The Saudi under-23 team has qualified for the semi-finals of the Toulon International Tournament, as their next game will be held next Friday evening.
The Green Falcons are awaiting the team they will face after the conclusion of Group B matches tomorrow, Tuesday.
It's worth noting that Group A of the Toulon Tournament included the Green Falcons, along with host France, Mali, and Panama.
