The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), the Roshn Saudi League, and the First Division League announced today, Saturday, the award of the exclusive broadcast rights for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, the Roshen Saudi Professional League, the Saudi Super Cup, and the Yelo First Division League in the Middle East and North Africa region for the period from the next sports season 2025-2026 until 2030-2031 to 8th Company for Publishing and Distribution, a subsidiary of the Saudi Research and Media Group.

This came after a competition between several leading companies specializing in media, digital broadcasting, and television, both locally and internationally.

8th Company will broadcast and cover the matches of the aforementioned tournaments and present them to the public through two methods: the first is digital broadcasting, and the second is satellite broadcasting via new television channels.

The matches will be broadcast in two ways: the first is free on satellite channels, and the second is through subscription to specific packages that include additional benefits.

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation and the two Professional Leagues confirmed First, the selection was based on precise criteria, including the efficiency of the technical infrastructure, distribution capacity, content quality, and the extent to which the operational vision aligns with the shared goals of enhancing media reach for Saudi tournaments and achieving financial sustainability through an integrated distribution model.

This step reflects the ongoing commitment to developing the media ecosystem for competitions and providing a viewing experience that aligns with the aspirations of sports fans, while simultaneously supporting the organizational professionalism of clubs and the commercial expansion of the Saudi sports product.

It's worth noting that this step falls within the strategic direction of the Saudi Football Association and the Professional League and First Division, towards building a sustainable media ecosystem that contributes to strengthening the position of Saudi tournaments and the Roshen Saudi League as one of the fastest-growing and most influential competitions in the world, keeping pace with the aspirations of fans, and contributing to supporting clubs in enhancing their resources.
