The assistant coaching staff of the Saudi national team held a meeting yesterday, Sunday, with Al-Nassr players nominated for the 2026 World Cup squad, during their visit to the Saudi Arabian Football Federation headquarters.
This visit is part of a series of meetings the coaching staff is holding with players, as similar meetings will be held in the coming period with nominated players from Al-Hilal, Al-Shabab, Al-Riyadh, Al-Taawoun, and Al-Kholoud clubs.
The meeting aimed to emphasize the importance of the current phase, the need for complete focus on technical instructions, adherence to approved nutritional and health programs, and reviewing and discussing the players' physical statistics with each individual player to contribute to raising their technical and physical readiness.
The assistant coaching staff indicated that the upcoming phase requires redoubled efforts and increased workload, noting that attention to daily details is essential for achieving peak readiness.
This meeting is part of the work methodology adopted by the technical staff, which aims to enhance direct communication with the players and prepare them mentally and physically for the next stage, in a way that serves the interest of the national team and enhances its competitive presence, within an integrated work plan that aims to enhance technical integration and unify the work methodology between the national team and the clubs.
