
NT U-17 Defeats Qatar in Friendly as Part of Asian Cup Preparations

The Saudi Arabia U-17 national team defeated Qatar 2-1 in a friendly match held Sunday evening as part of their training camp in Qatar.
This camp is part of their preparation program for the 2026 AFC U-17 Asian Cup, which serves as a qualifier for the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Saif Al-Qarah scored the first goal for Saudi Arabia in the 67th minute, followed by Abdullah Al-Dosari's goal in the 71st minute.
Coach Ahmed Al-Hanfoush fielded the following starting lineup: Musaed Al-Shammari (goalkeeper), Marwan Al-Yami, Nawaf Al-Huwayri, Ahmed Ishaq, Zaid Al-Bouri, Khaled Sharahili, Saif Al-Qarah, Hassan Al-Akroush, Ali Awad, Rakan Al-Azouri, and Ali Al-Shamrani.
The Green Falcons will resume training tomorrow evening, Monday, as part of their preparatory camp in Qatar.
