His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Sport crowns Al-Nassr with the SAFF Women's Cup 25/26

His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Sport, Mr. Bader bin Abdulrahman Al-Qadi, along with the Assistant Minister of Sport for Sports Affairs, Ms. Adwa Al-Arifi, the Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Ms. Lamia bint Ibrahim bin Bahyan, and the Director of Women's Football, Ms. Alia Al-Rashid, crowned Al-Nassr with the SAFF Women's Cup in its third edition on Wednesday evening.

This followed Al-Nassr's victory in the final match against Al-Hilal at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, securing their place on the podium and reaffirming their strong presence in Saudi women's football.

The champions received a cash prize of 1,000,000 riyals, while the runners-up, Al-Hilal, received 500,000 riyals.

The celebratory atmosphere reflected the significant progress women's football is witnessing in the Kingdom.

Al-Ula team secured third place on May 15th after a decisive victory against Al-Qadisiyah, concluding their tournament run on a high note and highlighting their remarkable progress throughout the season.

During the closing ceremony, individual awards were presented to the tournament's top performers, as Al-Hilal's Asisat Ashwala won the top scorer award, while Al-Nassr's Clara Luvanga received the best player award, and Al-Nassr's goalkeeper, Mona Abdulrahman, was named best goalkeeper for her outstanding performances throughout the competition.

For her part, Lamia Bin Bahyan, Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, congratulated the winning team, praising the high level of competition and the players' performances, which reflect the rapid development of women's football in Saudi Arabia.

Alia Al-Rashid, Director of Women's Football, affirmed that the tournament represents a continuation of the ongoing successes achieved by women's football in the Kingdom. She commended the high level of competition displayed by the participating teams and wished them continued success and achievements in the coming seasons.
