Head Coach Giorgos Donis Announces The NT Squad for 2026 World Cup Training Camp

The head coach of the Saudi national team, Giorgos Donis, announced the squad for the training camp to be held from May 25 to June 10 in the United States, which represents the fourth and final phase of the team's preparation program for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™.



The squad list included (30) players, whose names are as follows: Mohammed Al-Owais, Nawaf Al-Aqidi, Ahmed Al-Kassar, Abdulquddus Attia, Abdulilah Al-Amri, Hassan Al-Tambakti, Jihad Zikri, Ali Lajami, Hassan Kadash, Saud Abdulhamid, Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat, Ali Majrashi, Mutaib Al-Harbi, Nawaf Boushal, Zakaria Hawsawi, Mohammed Kanno, Abdullah Al-Khaibari, Ziyad Al-Juhani, Nasser Al-Dawsari, Musab Al-Juwair, Alaa Al-Hajji, Salem Al-Dawsari, Khalid Al-Ghannam, Ayman Yahya, Sultan Mandash, Saleh Abu Al-Shamat, Firas Al-Buraikan, Abdullah Al-Salem, Saleh Al-Shehri, Abdullah Al-Hamdan.

The Saudi national team is scheduled to depart for the United States on Monday evening, May 25, to begin the first phase of their training camp in New York City. This phase will run until May 31 and will include a friendly match against Ecuador on Saturday, May 30, at Sports Illustrated in Harrison, New Jersey.

The team will then depart on June 1 for Austin, Texas, to begin the second phase of their preparation program, which will continue until June 9, and will include two friendly matches: the first against Puerto Rico on Friday, June 5, at Q2 Stadium in Austin, and the second against Senegal on Tuesday, June 9, at San Antonio Stadium in San Antonio, Texas.

The national team will officially enter the tournament phase on June 10, and will be based in Austin during the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

It is worth noting that the national team is in Group H of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, alongside the national teams of Spain, Uruguay and Cape Verde.
