NT U-20 Opens Asian Cup Qualifiers Campaign Against Hong Kong

The Saudi Arabia U-20 national team will kick off its qualifying campaign for the 2027 AFC U-20 Asian Cup tomorrow, Monday.

The Green Falcons will face Hong Kong at 7:00 PM at Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium in Doha, Qatar.

On the field, the Saudi players held their training session this evening, Sunday, under the supervision of Spanish coach Sergio Bernas and his assistant coaching staff, as the session included tactical drills, followed by work on set pieces, and concluded with a full-field scrimmage.

Meanwhile, the coaching staff decided to exclude Abdulrahman Mohammed Sufyani due to injury and called up Ahmed Bin Humaid as his replacement. Bin Humaid is expected to join the Saudi camp tomorrow morning, Monday.

The Saudi under-20 team's 23-man squad for the qualifiers includes: Fahad Al-Harbi, Abdullah Al-Muhaisen, Faisal Al-Shammari, Nawaf Al-Dosari, Mohammed Al-Sarnoukh, Saleh Barnawi, Wissam Al-Milbi, Abdulrahman Hassan Sufyani, Awaji Alwani, Fawaz Al-Mashhour, Yasser Al-Dhafeeri, Elias Sheikh, Talal Harthi, Mohammed Fallatah, Abu Bakr Saeed, Ali Al-Yousef, Ahmed Bin Humaid, Fares Bin Salem, Salem Abdullah, Abdulrazzaq Awaji, Suhaib Hawasawi, Luay Al-Obaidi, and Abdulaziz Al-Shammari.

The national under-20 team is in Group E of the qualifiers for the 2027 AFC U-20 Asian Cup, alongside Qatar, Oman, and Hong Kong.
