The Saudi national futsal team defeated their Algerian hosts 4-3 in their first friendly match, held Sunday evening in Tlemcen, Algeria, which was part of the Green Falcons' preparation program for the Asian Indoor Games, scheduled to take place from December 14th to 20th.

The Saudi goals were scored by Farhan Al-Asmari (two goals), Fahad Al-Juhani, and Ehab Ahmed.

The national team's Spanish coach, Andreu Plaza, used the match to give playing time to most of the players, aiming to test various tactical options and enhance team cohesion.

The Saudi futsal team had previously completed their training camp in Agadir, Morocco, before moving to Tlemcen, Algeria, to continue their preparations.

The two teams are scheduled to meet again on Monday evening in the second friendly match, which will conclude the futsal team's friendly matches during their current training camp.
