
The road to Tokyo.. Olympic National Team opens Dammam camp

Today, Tuesday, the under-23 national team opened its training at its camp in Dammam, which represents the first phase of the program of preparation for the Olympic Games in Tokyo, scheduled to be held in July.
The under-23 national team conducted its training session this evening at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, under the supervision of the technical director Saad Al-Shehri, during which the work focused on applying fitness exercises and ball possession exercises.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, the national team will continue its training session at 6 pm, at Prince Muhammad Fahd Stadium.
The camp’s list includes (26) players, whose names are as follows: Muhammad al-Rubaie, Amin Bukhari, Zaid al-Bawardi, Abd al-Ilah al-Omari, Hasan al-Timbukti, Abd al-Basat al-Hindi, Awn al-Salouli, Abdullah Hassoun, Saud Abdul Hamid, Hamad al-Yami, Fahd Hamad, and Khaled al-Dabish. Ali Al-Hassan, Nasser Al-Omran, Hussein Al-Issa, Nasser Al-Dossary, Muhammad Al-Mujhd, Mukhtar Ali, Sami Al-Naji, Ayman Yahya, Khaled Al-Ghanem, Fawaz Al-Tarees, Abd Al-Rahman Gharib, Abdul Rahman Al-Yami, Abdullah Al-Hamdan, and Firas Al-Braikan.
It is reported that the U-23 national team qualified for the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020) after winning one of the qualifying seats in the U-23 AFC Cup in Thailand last January, during which it finished second.
