The under-23 national team opened its training in its preparatory camp in Jeddah, which comes within the framework of the second phase of the program of preparation for the Olympic Games in Tokyo, scheduled to be held in July.

The under-23 national team conducted its training session this evening on the reserve stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, under the supervision of the coach Saad Al-Shehri.

On Tuesday, the national team will continue its training, with the fifth evening session, at the reserve stadium in King Abdullah Sports City.

On the other hand, the coaching staff excluded the player Harun Kamara, after medical examinations showed that he had suffered an injury to the inner cartilage of the right knee.

It is reported that the U-23 national team qualified for the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020) after winning one of the qualifying seats in the U-23 AFC Cup in Thailand last January, during which it finished second.
