Saad Al-Shehri, the coach of the under-23 national team, applied tactical exercises to develop playing from midfield.

This came during the training session that was held at the reserve stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, within the preparatory camp that comes within the second phase of the program of preparation for the Olympic Games in Tokyo, to be held in July.

Tomorrow, Friday, the national team continues its preparations for the friendly match against South Africa, with a session at 5 O'clock, at the reserve stadium in King Abdullah Sports City.

On the other hand, the coaching staff excluded the player Fahd Al-Harbi, after medical examinations revealed that he had a fracture in the bone cartilage of the eighth rib from the left side when he was with his club.

It is reported that the U-23 national team qualified for the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020) after winning one of the qualifying seats in the U-23 AFC Cup in Thailand last January, during which it finished second.
