
The under-23 national team resumes training after victory over South Africa

The under-23 national team resumed its training today, Sunday, after South Africa friendly match on Saturday, within the preparatory camp in Jeddah, which is held within the second phase of the program of preparation for the Olympic Games in Tokyo, scheduled to start in July.
The under-23 national team conducted its training session this evening on the reserve stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, during which the players performed a recovery session, followed by a ball session.
On Monday evening, the national team will continue its training in its camp in Jeddah, before facing South Africa again on Tuesday evening at the end of the camp.
It is reported that the under-23 national team qualified for the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020) after winning one of the qualifying seats in the U-23 AFC Cup in Thailand last January, during which it finished second.
