The Palestine national team arrives in Riyadh in preparation for the qualifying match

Today, Tuesday evening, the brotherly Palestinian team arrived at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh in preparation for the confrontation that will bring them together in the national team on March 30th, for the joint Asian qualifiers that qualify for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 Asian Cup.

Upon its arrival in Riyadh, the mission was received by the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Kingdom on behalf of Abdullah Al-Agha, and the Secretary-General of the Saudi Football Association Ibrahim bin Suleiman Al Kassim.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Association, Yasser bin Hassan Al Misehal, welcomed the mission of the brotherly Palestinian national team, wishing them a pleasant stay in their second country and that the match would come out in an honorable way for the two teams.

It is noteworthy that the national team will play a friendly match, on Thursday, in front of its Kuwaiti brother at the "Marsool Park" stadium in Riyadh, in preparation for the Palestine match, which will be held at the same stadium.

"Al-Akhdar" is in Group D with 8 points from 4 games, while the Palestinian team is ranked fifth with 4 points from 5 matches, noting that Uzbekistan leads the group with 9 points from 5 matches.
