The SAFF and Al Ahli Bank renew their partnership until 2024

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation announced today, Thursday, the renewal of the exclusive and official partnership agreement with Al-Ahli Bank until 2024.

The agreement was signed by the President of the Saudi Football Association, Mr. Yasser bin Hassan Al Misehal, and the Chief Executive Officer of Personal Banking of Al-Ahli Bank Mr. Majed Al-Ghamdi.

The signing ceremony of the new agreement between the pioneer of the banking sector and the Saudi Football Association took place on the floor of (Marsool Park) stadium in Riyadh before the start of the friendly match for the first national team and his Kuwaiti brother, in the presence of the captain of the first national team, Salem Al-Dossary, the captain of the Olympic national team, Sami Al-Naji, and the employees of the Saudi Federation And the National Bank.

The official partnership includes the National Bank’s sponsorship of the activities and programs of the Saudi Federation, the national teams, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup and the Saudi Super Cup.

For his part, the President of the Saudi Football Association, Yasser Al-Mashal, said: "The renewal of the partnership with Al-Ahli Bank comes in order to continue the cooperation between the two parties, which began since the signing of the partnership contract in 2017."

Al-Mashal added that this step comes to open more prospects for cooperation and partnership with the banking sector, especially since the National Bank is a pioneer in this sector, and the continuation of this partnership would contribute to the development of football in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

The President of the Saudi Federation pointed out that the renewal of the partnership with Al-Ahli Bank coincides with the passage of 40 years of its support for Saudi football, a task that the bank has placed upon itself since 1981, as this support played a major role in contributing to the development of Saudi football.

For his part, the Chief Executive Officer of Personal Banking of the National Bank, Majid Al-Ghamdi, stressed that the renewal of the partnership with the Saudi Federation confirms the important role played by the banking sector, represented by the National Bank, the pioneer of this sector, in supporting the development movement by contributing to the development of the sports sector, especially football The foot, in particular, that enjoys interest and follow-up from all segments of Saudi society.

He added that this partnership falls within the bank’s keenness to activate the role of the private sector in strengthening the partnership between the two sectors, as one of the most important axes of sustainable development, in order to achieve the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.

He concluded, "We are all proud and proud to be the nation's partners in its development journey through the continuation of the exclusive sponsorship of Al-Ahli Bank for this agreement with the Saudi Football Association."

The partnership with the National Bank contributed to developing the Federation's performance, raising the level of Saudi teams and overcoming all difficulties, and this agreement also stimulated the entry of more investors in the sports field.
