The NT U-23 resumed its training today, Sunday, after the friendly match yesterday, Saturday, in front of its guest Liberia, within the preparatory camp in the city of Riyadh, which extends until the 30th of this month, as part of the third phase of the program of preparation for the Olympic Games in Tokyo, scheduled to be held at the end of Next July.

Al-Akhdar conducted his training session this evening on the reserve stadium of Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, during which the players performed a retrospective session.

The national team will conclude its training tomorrow, Monday, with the evening session at 4:30 pm, at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, in preparation for the friendly confrontation with the Liberia national team next Tuesday evening.

On the other hand, the team's technical staff ruled out player Hassan Al Slis, after medical examinations revealed his injury during the friendly match yesterday, Saturday, with a tear in the posterior muscle of the left thigh.

It is reported that the NT U-23 announced its qualification for the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020) after winning one of the qualifying seats in the AFC U-23 Cup in Thailand early last year, during which it finished second.
