On Monday, the President of the Saudi Football Association, Yasser bin Hassan Al Misehal, participated in the general assembly of the Arab Gulf Cup Federation, which was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Federation Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, through visual communication technology.

The meeting witnessed a unanimous vote to grant the sisterly State of Iraq the right to host the 25th Arab Gulf Cup Football Tournament.

The heads of the Gulf federations affirmed their full support for the Iraqi Football Association to host the Gulf 25 competitions.

For his part, the President of the Saudi Federation, Yasser Al-Mashal, congratulated the head of the normalization body of the Iraqi Football Association, Counselor Iyad Bunyan, after the decision of the Gulf Executive Office to host the city of Basra for the next Gulf tournament, expressing his confidence in the ability of brotherly Iraq to host the session with all success, and he also stressed the readiness of The Saudi Football Federation to support his Iraqi brother for the success of the hosting.
