NT Futsal face Comoros at the opening of the Arab Championship

The first national futsal team opens tomorrow, Friday, in the Arab Futsal Cup, when the Comoros national team meets at Hassan Mostafa International Hall in 6th of October, Egypt.
Al-Akhdar had finished his preparations for the opening match by conducting a training session at the sub-hall of Hassan Mustafa Sports City, which will host the tournament matches, under the leadership of the Spanish coach Luis Fonseca, who, during the training session, implemented and applied the technical and tactical sentences that the coach will follow in the meeting, to conclude the session by holding a maneuver The entire hall, which witnessed the presence and follow-up of the head of the mission, a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Association Bandar Al-Ahmadi, and the Director of the Futsal and Beach Soccer Department of the Saudi Federation, Nasser Al-Saadi.
Fonseca thanked the Arab Football Association for organizing this tournament, which was absent for quite some time and witnessed great development among the Arab teams, and he also thanked the Egyptian Football Association for hosting and wished that this version would appear at a good level that reflects the development of this game in the Arab world.
Fonseca stressed that the strength of the confrontation that awaits him against the Comoros Islands, as he has professional players in the French League, indicating that both teams aspire to win the first match, wishing to win to give the players great motivation, motivation and confidence in the upcoming matches.
Regarding the national team’s ambition in the tournament, the Al-Akhdar coach said: “We certainly aspire to achieve the championship title, but our thinking remains focused on the opening match against the Comoros, then the next with the Emirates and then Morocco, and then thinking about the second round, and we hope to stay for the last day in the tournament.” .
Fonseca concluded his remarks by expressing thanks and appreciation to the President of the Saudi Football Association and all his employees for their support and interest in the football game in Saudi Arabia in general and the national team in particular.
For his part, the captain of the national team, Faisal Al-Sultan, said that the goal of the players from the tournament is to appear in a decent and honorable way, to represent the country well and to compete for the title, wishing that the championship would appear at high levels and achieve great successes that reflect the development of this game among all the brotherly teams.
