NT U-20 loses to Slovenia in the friendly Croatian Championship

The NT U-20 lost to Slovenia 3-1, in the match that brought them together this evening, Saturday, as part of the international friendly tournament, in which the “green” participates on the sidelines of its preparatory camp in Croatia, as part of the first phase of a long preparation plan. The range for the AFC U-20 Cup 2023.

Slovenia opened the scoring in the 20th minute of the first half, before Abdullah Redif equalized in the 30th minute. In the second half, Slovenia scored the second goal in the 64th minute, before adding the third goal in the last minute of the match.

The technical director, Saleh Al-Mohammadi, entered the meeting with a list consisting of: Osama Al-Marmash in the goalkeeper, Suleiman Hazazi, Muhammad Al-Dosari, Abdulaziz Al-Faraj, Sami Al-Suwaid, Musab Al-Juwair, Abbas Al-Hassan, Abdullah Matouk, Majid Duran, Suhaib Al-Zaid, Abdullah Radif.

The national team will resume its training tomorrow, Sunday, with an evening session, and on Tuesday it will meet the Bosnia and Herzegovina team at the end of the international tournament.

It is worth noting that this camp is the first in a long-term preparation plan that began with exploratory gatherings, followed by several preparatory camps, in preparation for the 2023 AFC U-20 Cup.
