NT U-20 opens its Arab Cup matches against Uzbekistan

The NT U-20 will open its matches in the Arab Cup for under-20 teams tomorrow, Monday, to be hosted by Egypt until the sixth of next July.
“Al-Akhdar" will meet the Uzbekistan national team at exactly seven in the evening, Egypt time (eight in the evening, Saudi Arabia), at the Arab Contractors Stadium.
On the field level, the players of the national team conducted their training session this evening, Sunday, on the reserve stadium of the Cairo Stadium, under the supervision of coach Saleh Al-Mohammadi and the assistant technical staff, which focused on their application of tactical training, followed by work on set balls.
On the other hand, the Arab Football Association, represented by the tournament’s organizing committee, held a coordination meeting, during which a number of logistical, security, marketing, media and medical organizations were discussed, and the “white” kit was approved to meet the national team tomorrow.
For his part, the coach of the NT U-20, Saleh Al-Mohammadi, explained during the press conference held this evening, that the main goal of participating in the tournament is to gradually develop the players’ abilities to reach the best levels during the competition for the AFC U-20 Cup 2023 qualifying for the World Cup, He praised the preparations of "Akhdar" during the last period.
Saleh Al-Mohammadi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Arab Football Association, and the Egyptian Federation for the good hosting, wishing success for such Arab gatherings in achieving a good technical impact on young players.
While the captain of the "Al-Akhdar", Musab Al-Juwair, confirmed their determination to appear at an honorable level during the tournament competitions, reflecting the development of Saudi football, noting that they took full advantage of the last camp that was held in Croatia.
It is noteworthy that the draw for the Arab Cup for U-20 teams placed the "NT" in Group D, along with Tunisia, Uzbekistan and Yemen.
