NT U23 opens the Riyadh camp in the presence of the Vice President of the Saudi Olympic Committee

His Highness Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, visited this evening, Thursday, the training session of the national team under 23 years, at the opening of its preparatory camp in Riyadh, which was held within the framework of the fifth phase of the preparation program for the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020.

His Highness met the Al-Akhdar players before the start of the training session, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Association, Yasser bin Hassan Al Misehal. At the beginning of the meeting, he conveyed the greetings of His Highness, the Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, praising the great focus and high spirit shown by him. The players during the preparation stages for the Olympics, and wished the national team success in its matches in the Olympic Games.

Prince Fahd bin Jalawi stressed the importance of Al-Akhdar's historical participation and the doubling of work for the honorable appearance of Saudi football.

For his part, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Association, Yasser Al Misehal, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness, the Vice-President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, for the support and follow-up that the national team enjoys in preparation for the Olympics, stressing that everyone is working with the aim of achieving more achievements in the name of Saudi football.

Al Misehal commended the continuous follow-up of His Highness the Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, stressing that this interest comes within his keenness to follow up on all national teams.

At the field level, the players of the national team performed their training session this evening, Thursday, at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, under the supervision of technical director Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff, during which they applied preventive exercises, followed by an entertaining training, to conclude the training session with a training that came in 3 parts by 10 Minutes per portion for endurance.

Tomorrow, Friday, the national team will continue its training at 7:00 pm at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, in a training session open to the media.

It is noteworthy that the NT
U-23 is in Group D in the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020), along with the teams of Brazil, Germany and Ivory Coast.
