NT U23 performs two training sessions and conducts medical examinations

Today, Monday, the NT U-23 trained in its preparatory camp in Riyadh, which runs until the fifth of next July, as part of the fifth phase of the preparation program for the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020).

Al-Akhdar players performed their training session today, Monday, in two shifts, morning and evening. During the morning session, which came in the Fitness Time branch in Al-Waha neighborhood, they performed strengthening exercises, while during the evening session at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, they applied a tactical exercise to build from the middle of the stadium. , followed by work on offensive set-pieces.

On the other hand, the training session witnessed that the player Abdulelah Al-Omari did not participate due to feeling some pain in the anterior muscle of the right thigh, and the medical staff preferred to rest him and evaluate his condition with the preparation of a special rehabilitation program.

On the other hand, the national team players today undertook the mandatory medical examinations by the International Football Federation (FIFA), before participating in the Tokyo Olympics, as a routine measure to ensure the safety of the players during the tournament.

The examinations that took place on the sidelines of the camp in Riyadh included vital analyzes, ECG, and cardiac imaging.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, the national team will continue its training in two shifts, in the morning at the gymnasium, and in the evening at seven in the evening at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, in a closed training session in front of the media.

It is noteworthy that the NT U-23 is in Group D in the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020), along with the teams of Brazil, Germany and Ivory Coast.
