NT U23 concludes its preparations for the Ugandan friendly in preparation for the Olympic games

The NT U-23 will play its first test matches tomorrow, Friday, in its preparatory camp in Riyadh, which runs until the fifth of July, as part of the fifth phase of the preparation program for the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020).

“Al-Akhdar" will meet the Uganda national team (first team) at 7:15 pm, at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh.

On the field, the national team players performed their training session this evening, Thursday, at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, under the supervision of technical director Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff, which focused on the implementation of the set-ball training in the defensive aspects.

The training session witnessed the participation of the player Salman Al-Faraj after his rest from the training session yesterday, Wednesday, by a decision of the medical staff after feeling mild fatigue, while the player Abdulelah Al-Omari continued his rehabilitation program with the medical staff today.

On the other hand, the players and employees of the NT U-23 conducted a (Covid-19) examination today at the mission’s residence, as part of the precautionary measures applied according to the protocol of the medical staff of the team.

It is noteworthy that the NT U-23 is in Group D in the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020), along with the teams of Brazil, Germany and Ivory Coast.
