Yesterday, Saturday, the fifth round of the Saudi League for the second division, which took place over 3 days, concluded.

Al-Nujoom and Al-Washm opened the round, as Al-Washm defeated Al-Nujoom 3-0, through Attia Al-Shamrani, Imad Al-Kinani and Nader Al-Yajzi in the 44th, 55th and 90th minutes.

Al-Washm raised its score to 9 points in fifth place in the first group, while the balance of Al-Nujoom stopped at two points in the fourteenth place.

Friday's round matches continued with 6 matches for Group A, as Riyadh lost its lead with a 1-1 draw against Al-Sadd, as Tal Al-Hajj Malik scored for Riyadh in the 90+3 minute, before Abdul Rahman Al-Shanqiti equalized for Al-Sadd in the 90+5 minute.

Riyadh raised its score to 10 points in second place, while Al-Sadd raised its score to 9 points in fifth place.

Al-Rawda took advantage of Riyadh's draw to jump to the top thanks to its 3-2 victory over Al-Intisar.

Al-Rawda scored by Abia Ivani "two goals" and Abdulaziz Al-Juhani, in the 10th, 74th and 90th minutes, respectively, while Mohammed Al-Zahrani and Patrick Ngoula scored for Al-Intisar in the 29th and 90th+4 minutes, so Al-Rawdah raised its score to 10 points in the lead, with a goal difference from Riyadh, while the Al-Intisar’s balance stopped at 3 points in 13th place.

Al-Saqr returned from the stadium of its host Al-Liwaa with a great 4-0 victory, which came through Mohamed Al-Tuwaijri, Mami Bala Diop, Fahd Al-Daoud and Farhan Al-Farhan in the 10, 17, 30 and 90+3 minutes.

Al-Saqr raised its score to 9 points in fourth place, while Al-Liwaa's balance stopped at 7 points in eighth place.

A 1-1 draw ended the match between Al Sharq and Al Bukayriyah. as the guests led first by Tari Khaled Al Hazmi in the 74th minute, before Anas bin Mizail drew for Al Sharq in the 82nd minute, so Al Sharq raised its score to 5 points in tenth place, while Al Bukayriyah’s balance rose to 6 points in the ninth place.

Tuwaiq drew with Waj without goals, bringing Tuwaiq to the fourth point in 11th place, while Waj's balance rose to 10 points in third place, with a goal difference from Al-Rawda and Riyadh, the first and second places.

At the end of Friday's matches, Al-Arabi scored a 1-0 victory over Al-Zahab, scored by Maher Al-Mutairi, in the 62nd minute, so Al-Arabi raised its score to 9 points in sixth place, while Al-Zahab's balance stopped at 4 points in the 12th place.

The round ended Saturday with the second group matches, as Al-Ansar rose to the top, while Hittin fell to second place.

Al-Ansar scored a four-goal victory over Al-Thuqbah, which came through Ahmed Zare’ Al-Alati “two goals”, Nayef Al-Rahili, and Abash Al-Shanqeeti, so Al-Ansar raised its score to 12 points, while Al-Thuqbah's balance stopped at 3 points, in the 13th place.

Hittin suffered its first loss this season against Al-Takaddom with two goals scored by Basil Salem Al-Azmi and Wad Bekai, so Hittin's balance stopped at 10 points in second place, while Al-Takaddom raised its score to 7 points in seventh place.

Al-Jandal scored a 3-1 victory over its host, Arar, as Guri Dahu and Majed Al-Atwi scored two goals for Al-Jandal, while Arar's only goal was scored by Satan Al-Shamri.

Al-Jandal raised its score to 8 points in third place, while Arar's balance stopped at 4 points in 12th place.

Al-Safa overcame its guest, Al-Najma, with two goals, scored by Khaled Al-Thubaiti and Sayed Abdullah Toda, in the 15th and 50th minutes, so Al-Safa raised its score to 8 points in fourth place, with a goal difference from Al-Najma, which dropped to sixth place.

Al-Taraji beat Qaisumah with a goal, scored by Ahmed Abdullah Boussaid in the 90+3 minute, to raise its score to 7 points in ninth place, with a goal difference from Qaisumah in eighth place.

Al-Rayyan drew with Al-Zulfi 3-3, as Al-Rayyan's goals scored by Mohammed Mustafa Naday, Ibrahim Hamad Al-Sahari and Fahd Abdulaziz Al-Shamri in the 35th, 51st and 85th minutes, while Islam Siraj, Youssef Trabelsi and Salman Abdul Rahman Al-Saeed scored in the 21st, 34th and 88th minutes for Al-Zulfi.

Al Rayyan raised its score to 8 points in fifth place, while Al Zulfi's balance increased to 4 points in tenth place.

A goalless draw ended Afif's match with Al-Nairiya, to raise Afif's score to two points in 14th place, while Al-Nairiya raised its score to 4 points in 11th place.

At the end of the fifth round, Abia Ifani "Al-Rawda", Ricardo Verza Souza "Hittin" and "Guri Dahu "Al-Jandal" shared the top scorers with 5 goals each.

The total number of goals scored reached 149 goals, at a rate of 2.13 goals per match, as this round saw 36 goals scored.

The number of red cards this season increased to 17 after 3 players sent out during this round, namely Issam Abu Daoud "Al-Liwaa", Baka Yaoko Amaru "Al-Zahab" and Muhammad Al-Muhanna "Al-Arabi", while the total number of yellow cards this season has reached 330 so far.
