The final round of the 2nd League determines the promoted and relegated clubs

Friday, the twenty-fifth round of the Saudi Second Division League was concluded, as the competition for the two direct promoted clubs to the First Division League became on fire before the final round.

*The first group*

Al-Arabi left the opportunity to promote after a 1-1 draw against Al-Sadd, as the guests scored first through Amir Omrani in the 18th minute, before Bandar Al-Shammari equalized for Al-Sadd in the 26th minute, bringing Al-Arabi's score to 54 points in the lead, while Al-Sadd’s balance rose to 27 points in the eleventh place to officially guarantee staying in the second division league.

Al-Riyadh took advantage of Al-Arabi's draw to reduce the difference with it, as it defeated its host Tuwaiq with a goal scored by Mohammed Al-Shamri in the 90+3 minute, so Al-Riyadh raised its score to 53 points in the second place, while Tuwaiq's balance stopped at 30 points in eighth place.

Al-Saqr won over Al-Intisar with a goal scored by Bandar Mosleh Al-Harbi in the 62nd minute, so Al-Saqr raised its score to 35 points in fourth place, with a goal difference over Al-Intisar, the third-placed.

Al Bukayriyah returned from the stadium of its host, Al-Rawdah, with a precious 4-2 victory, as Ibrahim Al-Sanitan, Boubaker Soumareh (two goals) and Abdul Rahman Sharif scored in the 9th, 13th, 53rd and 75th minutes, respectively, while Al-Rawdah’s goals were scored by Ahmed Al-Naziri and Abia Ifani in the 48th and 75th minutes, so Al Bukayriyah raised its score to 34 points in sixth place, one point ahead of Al-Rawdah, which ranked fifth.

Al-Sharq defeated its host Waj with a goal scored by Rabie Hamdi in the 18th minute, to raise its score to 24 points in twelfth place, while Waj’s balance stopped at 31 points in seventh place.

Al-Liwaa beat its guest Al-Washm 3-2, as Sakala Saitah (two goals) and Imran Elias Bakour scored in the 34th, 54th and 83rd minutes, respectively, while the two goals of Al-Washm were scored by Mateos Araqouh and Hassan Batiah at the 30th and 68th minutes, to raise Al-Liwaa's score to 30 points in ninth place, while Al-Washam's balance stopped at 29 points in tenth place.

A 1-1 draw ended Al-Nojoum match with Al-Dhahab, as the guests scored first through Ziad Al-Hunaiti at the 36th minute, before Nader Sahel tied for Al-Nojoum at the 46th minute, bringing Al-Nojoum's score to 23 points in 13th place, with a goal difference from Al-Dahab, which is in the fourteenth and last place.

Al-Qaisumah continued to lead the group with a 3-0 victory over Al-Rayyan, which came through Fahd Hilal Al-Shamri, Abdullah Saleh Al-Suhaimi and Ali Lakroum in the 21st, 43rd and 74th minutes, respectively. so Al-Qaisumah raised its score to 51 points in the lead, while Al-Rayyan’s balance stopped at 32 points in the tenth place.

Al-Taraji maintained its chances of competing for the top spot by defeating its guest, Hittin, with 2 goals came through Muhammad Ali Abdel Salam and Talal Muhammad Majrashi at the 12th and 25th minutes, so Al-Taraji raised its score to 50 points in the second place, while Hittin's balance stopped at 35 points in sixth place

Al-Najma achieved a valuable victory that kept its chances in the competition for the promotion, after defeating its host Al-Nairiya 3-2, as the guests goals were scored by Muhammad Al-Faridi, Muhammad Al-Sharqi and Zamil Muhammad Al-Saleem at minutes 45+2, 65 and 80, respectively, while The two goals of Al-Nairiya were scored by Muhammad Atallah and Nawaf Mishaal at the 24th and 73rd minutes, to raise Al-Najma's score to 48 points in third place, while Al-Nairiya's balance stopped at 24 points in eleventh place.

A 1-1 draw ended Al-Zulfi's match with Al-Ansar, as Faisal Al-Mutairi scored for Al-Zulfi in the 41st minute, after Al-Ansar had scored through Emmanuel Panahini in the 34th minute, so Al-Zulfi raised its score to 44 points in fourth place, while Al-Ansar’s balance rose to 37 points in the fifth place.

With the same result, Afif drew with Al-Jandal, as the guests scored first through Sabri Zaidi at the 48th minute, while Afif drew through Muqrin Eid Al-Otaibi at the 85th minute, so Afif raised its score to 22 points in the 13th place, while Al-Jandal’s balance rose to 33 points.

Al-Takaddom came from the stadium of its host, Arar, with a precious victory, with two goals scored by Basil Salem Al-Azmi and Mahmoud Mohamed Farag at the 39th and 90th+4 minutes, bringing its score to 33 points in eighth place, while Arar's balance stopped at 24 points in twelfth place.

Al-Safa beat Al-Thaqbah 3-2, as Ibrahim Al-Busaeed, Abdulaziz Al-Marhabi and Adnan Al-Wardi scored at the 4th, 36th and 62nd minutes, while Abdulelah Mahmoud Al-Rabiah and Muhammad bin Yahya scored at the 22nd and 34th minutes, bringing Al-Safa's score to 33 points. In the ninth place, while the balance of Al-Thaqbah stopped at 13 points, in the fourteenth place.

At the end of the twenty-fifth round, the player "Abia Ifani (Al-Rawdah) was the top scorer with 20 goals, a goal difference from Youssef Ali Trabelsi (Al-Zulfi), who scored 19 goals, while Tal Al-Hajj Malik, (Al-Riyadh) came in third place with 15 goals.

The total number of goals scored reached 886 goals, at a rate of 2.53 goals per match, as the last round saw 39 goals scored.

The number of red cards this season rose to 89 after only one card was announced in the last round for Al-Zulfi's player Turki Al-Maiteq, while the number of yellow cards increased to 1,645.
