The Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Bandar Al-Ahmadi, crowned Al-Ansar team as the U-19 First Division League 2021-2022 champion, on Sunday.
The crowning of Al-Ansar team came after the club’s junior team match against its guest Al-Najma, in the twenty-sixth and last round of the U-17 First Division League.
Last week, Al-Ansar won the U-19 First Division League title after a three-way competition with Hajar and Jeddah that lasted until the last round.
This prevented the organization of the coronation ceremonies after the last round, to set a later date in coordination with the club.
Al-Ansar finished its season in the lead with 59 points, one point ahead of Hajar, the runner-up, and 4 points ahead of Jeddah, the third.
